Intermediate RiderCourse

The Intermediate Ridercourse (IRC) is designed for:

  • People with a motorcycle permit AND some recent riding experience who have not yet taken the on-cycle portion of the Arizona drivers test.
  • People with a class M endorsement who are looking to learn valuable street riding skills

It is recommended that IRC riders take the course on their own motorcycle.  However, motorcycles are available for rental through the school.

The IRC is an 8 hour class, with approximately 3.5 hours of classroom and 4.5 hours of riding.  The course is designed to expand your familiarity with the motorcycle and provide you with valuable skills to help prepare you for riding on the street.

Upon successful completion of the IRC you are issued a certificate of completion that allows you to obtain the Motorcycle endorsement on your license. In addition, you will also receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course Completion Card that may entitle you to a discount on your motorcycle insurance.

If you have registered for an IRC, please review the Tips and FAQs section for additional information.
